Kinepolis Group Board of Directors decides to propose Marc Van Heddeghem, Managing Director of Redevco Belgium, and Geert Vanderstappen, Managing Partner of Pentahold, as external, independent directors.
In addition, the Board proposes Philip Ghekiere, representative of the main shareholder and vice chairman as candidate for the chairmanship to succeed the current chairman, Hugo Vandamme, whose mandate is coming to an end. Hugo Vandamme is to continue as an independent director.
Kinepolis Group NV was formed in 1997 as a result of the merger of two family-run cinema groups and was listed on the stock exchange in 1998.
