Kinepolis is taking over the operation of the cinema in the Rouen Saint-Sever shopping centre

| General
As from today, Kinepolis Group is taking over the operation of the cinema located in the Saint-Sever shopping centre in the heart of Rouen (Normandy, France). The cinema, previously operated by UGC, has 14 screens and 2,500 seats, visited by over 400,000 cinemagoers in 2015.   The Rouen Saint-Sever centre, including cinema, is owned by the Dutch property investment company Wereldhave since December 2014. Convinced of the potential of Saint-Sever, Wereldhave has ambitious plans and will soon be implementing a refurbishment plan, with the primary objective of boosting the Entertainment and restaurant facilities offered. Eric Damiron, CEO of Wereldhave in France, is delighted with this project in which "the cinema will be playing a central role. Being accompanied by a partner as dynamic and visionary as Kinepolis will guarantee an even greater impact for this major project for Rouen Saint-Sever."   To equip the cinema and to ensure a smooth transition for the staff, who will be taken over by Kinepolis, the cinema will be closed this Wednesday morning 13 January.   The takeover of the Rouen Saint-Sever multiplex fits into Kinepolis' expansion strategy. It will be the first Kinepolis cinema in Normandy, and the tenth in France, following the takeover of a cinema near Lyon and the acquisition of the Utopolis cinema in Longwy in 2015.
