Utrecht, the Netherlands - Kinepolis Jaarbeurs opens its doors on 14 December. 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' is the first film which the public can see in the brand new cinema on the Jaarbeursplein.
The opening in December is a partial opening, namely of the first six halls which are ready. The rest of the 14 halls will open gradually until the cinema is completed in February 2017 and can run on full capacity.
With 14 screens and about 3,300 seats, Kinepolis Jaarbeurs will be the biggest cinema in Utrecht and one of the biggest in the Netherlands. All cinema rooms will have laser projection, ensuring razor-sharp image quality in every room. Kinepolis Jaarbeurs will be the second all-laser cinema in the Netherlands, after Kinepolis Breda. For visitors looking for an even more intense movie experience there is also a 'Laser ULTRA' theatre. 'Laser ULTRA' combines the best laser projection with a spectacular, multidimensional Dolby Atmos sound.
The film programme will be announced later, but it is certain that 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' will be the very first film shown at Kinepolis Jaarbeurs on 14 December.
