Kinepolis Group: notifications from Axa and Axa Investment Managers dated 17/10/08

In accordance with the legislation on transparency (law of 2 May 2007 and Royal Decree of 14 February 2008) Kinepolis Group informs you as issuer about the notifications from Axa and Axa Investment Managers as holder of participating interests in Kinepolis Group.   Kinepolis Group has received the following notifications:   * A notification from AXA S.A. dated 17/10/08, stating that on 1 September AXA S.A. held a 10.21% interest in Kinepolis Group. AXA Belgium is a subsidiary of AXA Holdings Belgium, which itself is a subsidiary of AXA. AXA France Vie is a subsidiary of AXA France Assurance, which itself is a subsidiary of AXA. The operational entities of Group AXA, which include the AXA insurance companies, act and exercise their voting rights independently of all other entities of the AXA group with asset management activities, under the conditions set out in Article 11 paragraph 2 of the law of 2 May 2007.   * A notification from AXA INVESTMENT MANAGERS dated 17/10/08, stating that on 1 September 2008 AXA INVESTMENT MANAGERS held a 4.05% interest in Kinepolis Group. AXA Investment Managers is a holding company of the AXA group that holds management companies and companies that provide investment services on behalf of third parties. AXA Investment Managers and all the management companies and companies that provide investment services, for which this notification is made, act independently of all other entities of the AXA group, under the conditions set out in Article 11 paragraph 2 of the law of 2 May 2007.   The notifications in question were published on the Kinepolis Group website under Corporate Governance / Transparency and other notifications   Jan Staelens CFO
