| General

Brétigny-sur-Orge, France - Today, Immochan and G2AM laid the first stone of the Les Promenades de Brétigny retail park in Brétigny-sur-Orge, 35 kilometres south of Paris. This new 24,315 m2 leisure and hospitality complex will host the first Kinepolis cinema in Île-de-France, as well as nine new bars and restaurants. Ideally located south of Paris, right next to the major road networks, Les Promenades de Brétigny will provide its catchment area with a unique leisure offering and joins the existing trade environment.

The cinema will include 10 screens and 1,530 seats, and aims to welcome 500,000 visitors a year. Immochan will rent out a 6,500 m2 windproof building to Kinepolis. Kinepolis will be responsible for furnishing and finishing the cinema. The opening is planned in the summer of 2017.

Eddy Duquenne, CEO Kinepolis Group: "We're very keen to offer the inhabitants of the Paris region the unique cinema experience that Kinepolis already offers in many other regions in France, and elsewhere. The cinema is an essential element in this new leisure area that will further strengthen the appeal of the existing trade area."

Since 2014, Kinepolis group has made significant steps in its expansion strategy, doubling the number of cinemas in its portfolio. The new cinema, which will be part of the Les Promenades de Brétigny retail park, is a new step in this expansion. The last newly built Kinepolis cinema in France dates back to 2005, when Kinepolis opened in Nancy.
